Bring your quadbike, as most of the hundreds of kilometres of trails are dual-use, allowing you to enjoy what Grand Forks and Christina Lake offer.
Maybe you want to get out for the afternoon and enjoy incredible scenery, such as the Kettle River or Christina Lake viewpoint. Or, pack some supplies, and you can take your quad or motorcycle to Castlegar and further – through the old British Columbia Railway tunnels.
Please use this checklist in preparing to quad or motorbike in our area:
- Make sure your quad or motorbike is in proper mechanical order.
- Ensure you have a valid Province of BC plate and insurance to operate.
- Check the tire level and tread wear.
- Make sure you have appropriate fuel to computer your ride.
- Fully charged mobile phone
- Paper map or the trail
- Let someone know where you are riding and your expected date and time of return.
- Dress appropriately, keeping in mind trail brush etc.
